Erin Murphy grew up in northern California and moved to Oregon to attend Southern Oregon University where she graduated with Bachelor of Science in human communication. After working as a counselor for several years she realized that her true passion was income tax law. She is licensed by the United States Treasury as an Enrolled Agent and the state of Oregon as a Licensed Tax Consultant. She had her own tax practice, for nine years, in Southern Oregon. Today she is a Partner of MB Tax Professionals, LLP and enjoys raising her family in Portland, Oregon.



David Bixel, a native to Portland, Oregon, went on to Walla Walla College for his first two years of college and then came back to Portland to finish his undergraduate work at Portland State University. He earned a degree of Bachelor of Science, with a double major in business management and business finance. He is Licensed by the United States Treasury as an Enrolled Agent and the state of Oregon as a Licensed Tax Consultant. Today he is a partner of MB Tax Professionals, LLP and specializes in business consulting.
